Al-Dabbagh: Prime Minister Supports Displaced and Returning Families with Sums of Money

The Official Spokesman of the Iraqi Government Dr. Ali Al-Dabbagh announced the Prime Minister’s approval of supporting the displaced and returning families with sums of money to help them to overcome difficulties that face them because of being displacement or immigrated, as follows:

1. The displaced and returning families (250 thousand families) are to receive a monthly payment of 150 thousand dinars for a period of 3 months starting from October 1, 2008.

2. Granting the above-mentioned families an amount of 100 thousand dinars each on Eid al-Fitr occasion.

3. Granting the returning families which their homes were destroyed or in need of furniture, two million dinars.
