   Al-Dabbagh: the Supreme Judicial Council will form judicial committees to supervise Central and Branch Sports Federations Elections and the Iraqi National Olympic Committee

Dr. Ali Al-Dabbagh the Official Spokesman for the Government of Iraq, announced that the Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council will form a number of committees to supervise the elections of sports federations subordinate, central and The Iraqi National Olympic Committee, elections. This is to ensure transparency, fairness and to prevent any interference or pressure might be exercised on voters.


Al-Dabbagh added that the judicial committees which will supervise the elections of the Central and Branch federations, each committee will be consisted of 3 judges, headed by a judge of at least second grade. As for the judicial committee supervising elections of, the Iraqi National Olympic Committee will consist of 3 judges, headed by a judge of a first grade; this is to ensure Legality of the elections, since the Supreme Judicial Council is the highest judicial authority in the Republic of Iraq.
