Al-Dabbagh Announces Council of Ministers Decisions/40

1. It was decided that the Ministers of Defense, Planning, Industry, Migration, Youth, Women, and Environment in addition to the Iraq Government Spokesman are to visit the province of Nineveh,  to identify the problems and needs of our Christian brothers.

 
2. The approval to exceptionally authorize the Minister of Migration and Displaced, to provide assistance as well as the government award to displaced families (Christians and others) in Mosul to help them return to their places.

 
3.The approval that the Political Prisoners Institution would pay the political prisoners pilgrimage coasts from its budget, provided that the candidate has not perform pilgrimage before and  did not benefit from institution award last year.

 
4. The approval of the bill of amendment of the General Federal Budget Law for the year 2008, according to the formula proposed by the Finance Committee of the Council of Representatives, which was approved by the Ministries of Finance and Defense and the Supreme Audit Board.

5. The approval to the amendment bill to Law of the ‘The Central Agency for Standardization and Quality No. 54 for the year 1979. The purpose of which is to transform Agency from the self-financing to the central financing system. The new Law should include that all fees collected are to go to the treasury. It should also nullify Law No. 22 of 1996.

6. The approval of the Weapons Bill.

  
7. The approval to what is mentioned in the report of the Follow-up committee of the Iraqi loans granted to developing countries on the loan to Senegal, and the memorandum of understanding signed between the Iraqi side and the Senegalese side on the amounts owing under this loan.

8. The approval to cover the debit totaling 31.5 billion dinars as the second payment of the advance debit of 50 million dollars equivalent to 63 billion dinars for the purpose of covering the expenses of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service.

 9. The approval to the cancel the committee tasked with preparing a working paper to develop the agricultural sector.

 
10. The approval of forming a committee to review the suggestions regarding the formation of the preparatory committees for the elections of trade union federations, associations and Craftsmen organizations. The committee will consist from Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Rafii Al-Isawi, as chairman; and Ministers of Interior, Environment, Labor, Human Rights, National Security, Civil Society, and Council of Representatives Affairs in addition to the Advisory Commission.

  
11. The Formation of a committee headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Rafii Al-Isawi, and the membership of the Ministers of Planning, Health, Education, and Electricity in addition to representatives from provinces to draft regulations and procedures for the hand-over of projects executed by the United States and the turning over the  executed projects.

 
12. Sending a proposal to the Presidential Council regarding the reassignment of the member of the Federal Appeal Court; Judge Abdul Hussein Shandal to the Supreme Iraqi Criminal Court as a member of its Appeal Board, retaining his rights and privileges as a member of the Federal Appeal Court.
